I have been waiting, my dear readers, to get my hands on one of Dior’s iconic perfume for so long and finally, this day has come!

As soon as I finished my last perfume bottle, I got my coat and my purse and went straight to Sephora Champs-Élysées. I entered the huge store and I started searching for the perfume section. It didn’t get me too long to locate it because none other than the golden goddess caught my eye. Charlize Theron’s picture was illuminating the shelves that contained her famous “j’adore” perfume in all of it sizes and different nuances. Next to Miss Theron, was Natalie Portman’s picture, shining on all the “Miss Dior” perfumes, also sitting on their respective shelves, in all their sizes and variation.

Everything in Dior’s sector was inviting. The perfume packages, the stunning tester’s display, and the amazing smell were luring you to stay, to try them all and to finally own one gorgeous bottle.

After being mesmerized by the muses’ picture for a little while, I decided to start the hunt for my new perfume. I didn’t know which exact Dior perfume I was going for, but I knew that it had to be sensual and not too fruity. I took Sephora’s fragrance blotter strips and began by testing “j’adore” perfume’s bestseller. As I was moving to the second bottle, a lovely saleswoman, responsible for the Dior’s section, offered me her help. I was extremely grateful to her because I knew that smelling all the available perfumes would have highly confused me and I would have left the store empty-handed and extremely miserable. I wanted a Dior perfume, and all the empowerment promises that come with it and a Dior perfume should I get.

She started by asking me what I was searching for, and she really took the time to listen carefully to what nuances and intensity I wanted my perfume to have and most importantly, what feeling I wanted my perfume to give me.

Afterwards, she selected three perfumes, one from the “j’adore” shelf and two others from the “Miss Dior” section.

For each perfume strip I smelled, she explained the composition and highlighted the main ingredients that should give me what I was searching for. And as I was smelling the last “Miss Dior” perfume she selected, I fell in love. It was precisely the smell I have been looking for and I couldn’t have been happier. I also knew that I wouldn’t have been able to find it if she hadn't truly listened to what I had to say, responded to every question I asked and gave me exactly what I needed. The perfume I chose was literally the last one on the “Miss Dior” shelves and I knew that, alone, I wouldn’t have even gotten close to trying it. Then, the saleswoman also made sure to give me many free samples and accompanied me to the cashier.

I paid for my bottle and went out of the store extremely satisfied.

I couldn’t recommend the amazing help highly enough.

I felt important, cared for, and listened to. The assistance exceeded my expectations, and I was not overwhelmed by all the choices available. In fact, I even felt at peace in the hands of the competent saleswoman.

Now that I got my Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming perfume, I could not wait to feel empowered by it. And I would like nothing more than for you my dear readers to feel the exact same way.
