Gucci scents and your feelings

Let's find out what people first think about when smelling the amazing gucci perfumes!

Gucci, the Italian brand is nowadays a very known and worn brand. Through time, the brand knew how to attract more people and how to create products that could satisfy its customer’s target. That said, not only their products are well done and satisfying but also their way of advertising them. Going from their websites, to their social medias such as Instagram, their videos, online or offline advertisements are done in a way that would definitely attract our attention. Since the online communication of Gucci is already well seen, it was important for us to run a test on the field. To do so, we chose two different fragrances from Gucci, the Gucci Bloom – which was a huge success and a kind of signature for the brand, with a specific message dedicated to women – and Gucci Guilty, a fragrance offering a whole different scent and a different message behind its creation. We actually made a woman, Sofia, 25 years old, working in Marketing in Paris – a Gucci fan - smell the perfumes and let us know which feelings, emotions first come to her mind.

In a few words, the Gucci Guilty is a scent people loved when it was launched. Sleek, shiny and fantastically magnetic, it’s a whole different scent. Unlike other products, Gucci Guilty revolves around the signature “fougère” accord of geranium, which is usually found in men’s cologne. So, the unlikely additions of lilac and amber create a light kind of fizzy finish that’s kind of floral but slightly electrified.

On the contrary, the Gucci Bloom is more a feminine scent, fresher, not at all men s’ oriented and has a different story behind the creation which was to emphasize the presence, place of women in the society, especially while wearing one this collection’s fragrance.

Gucci Bloom collection:

This perfume is soft and distinct. I could describe it as a sophisticated scent. It is unique and feminine. It translates a feeling of tenderness, smoothness and elegance. It smells like the freshness of spring mornings. This is a perfume that I would absolutely wear on a daily basis. It has a pleasant and lovely smell that does not go unnoticed when worn by someone. I can feel that the goal of this creation was to shed light and value women. Wearing it gives you this feeling of uniqueness, of blooming. Moreover, when I first smelled it, it reminded me of my childhood; where I grew up with my family, where I spent most of my days. It was all around nature and flowers. I think this perfume has a huge value. It’s a very light scent but with a lot of meaning, I can definitely tell it at first smell.

Gucci Guilty:

This perfume is definitely unique. It is a very masculine leaning fragrance that expresses warmness. It definitely brings to light a certain male energy which might be perceived by some women as sensual. This perfume matches cooler weather rather than warmer and is better suited for night outs. The smell is very strong, which is why I don’t think I could wear it. I prefer lighter weight perfumes like the first one. But it has a certain power when worn: you have this powerful feeling, attractive. I would love to smell it on someone else but not on myself.
